The first three indicate how when I don't straighten my hair, I braid it and for some reason it makes me sad that I don't see many people having their hair braided anymore.
The ones after just obviously means I'm happy but the smile doesn't mean I'm too happy, just normal happy.
After that, I'm on my stairs and holding on to the bars and am in a bit of a predicament.
The last ones are me in a bit of a frustrated mood and truly I was a bit frustrated when I was taking that picture. When I'm frustrated, nervous or even mad, I do something with my hair just like on the picture.
Portrait
This is my brother. These pictures were taken at my house. The first two were taken in his room. The third and fourth one was taken in my room and the last one was taken in the living room by the fireplace. I took these at night, almost midnight. I chose my brother because it was really late and my mom had already gone to bed and so my brother volunteered to do it and I also think that he is photogenic so why not? Although most of him are him being serious. He does not like having his picture taken and although he is photogenic, he usually smiles slightly and gives a serious face. The one with the smile and arms crossed makes him seem like he is proud of something in my opinion. The one with the dinosaur stuffed animal shows that he loves dinosaurs and has a childish side to him.

Web Assignment#5 Beauty
- I think beauty in photography is something natural and something you can't take your eyes off. A beauty that only you can view it as.
- The characteristics of photographic beauty would be that mystery, hidden feeling in a picture. The way it makes people cry, smile etc.
- Something ugly can definitely be considered beautiful. Technology today gives us ways to change something ugly into something that no one would believe was considered ugly. I also think it's how the photographer views it and how other people see it as well. Not everyone will agree of the way others will view a picture but even then it still has some beauty in it whether it is supposed to be ugly or not.
- An example to that would be a Black Widow. Most people dislike spiders and consider them ugly. A Black Widow may seem ugly but it has it's beauty and the red on its abdomen which the rest of it's body being black is really cool. The spider on the example picture terrifyingly ugly but the colors on the spider are interesting.
